Why is it important to find a solution to this challenge?

The field of energy is dynamic and rapidly developing, due to the current (and ongoing) transition from fossil to renewable sources of energy. Private individuals, such as homeowners who want to make energy improvements, will therefore have a hard time keeping up with all developments and separating facts from fiction. Therefore, these private individuals could often use a hand or a "mind" to help them in finding the optimal solution for their particular situation. This might be accomplished through peer-to-peer education, since many private individuals consider traditional consultancy to be too expensive. We challenge you to develop an online marketplace where individuals can find advice and consultancy on issues regarding energy transition applied to their own personal life and living environment. Mind the difference between a marketplace and a forum, and focus on facilitating a serious, constructive, peer-to-peer exchange of knowledge.
