Why is it important to find a solution to this challenge?
Students often work in teams during a project, which is an effective and motivating way to learn about content, but also to experience and learn to work in multi-diverse teams. Due to individual background differences team-work can be difficult which slows down to process and could even stand in the way of learning. In most cases the teams try to be solve the hurdles by themselves, and not discussed with the coach, or just in a later stage. This often slows down the process, which can result in not achieving the learning objectives.
At the moment we only have access to after-course evaluation, which it is too late for a coach to help, intervene or direct the team in the right direction to get the most out the individual student and the teams’ performance!
