Help us tackle the challenges higher education is currently facing in the field of enriching learning spaces, the co-creation of educational resources and the open recognition of skills and competences. Experts and mentors will coach and support your team during 24 hours in finding the best solutions to the challenge you want to tackle. The best teams can win €5000 in a global award contest.

Not only do learners expect to be serviced based on all available context, a lot of that context is also interesting for the institution to improve their setup (e.g. usage of specific learning spaces). Isabelle Vandevyvere, lab master, is facilitating this workshop on design thinking. This session will help you to keep your focus throughout your hack.

It's time to choose the challenge you want to work on and meet your fellow hackers.

Lunch & meetup with your coach and fellow hackers

Time for lunch. Lunch will be served in a buffet style manner. During lunch you can catch up with your fellow hackers and get to know your coach.

It's time to get energised again. This energetic yoga session will pump up your mental muscles to help you getting through the night!

You don't feel like joining the yoga session and rather have a short rest? No problem, we will have hammocks at your disposal that will gently rock you to sleep.

The hack comes to and end. It's time to start working on your pitch. Your coach will help you during the last stretch of the hackathon.

The jury has arrived and is all ears! Now it's up to you and your team to convince them about the greatness you developed during the past 24 hours.

The jury will decide on the team that came up with the greatest solution(s) for the challenge(s) and which team can go home with one of the prizes.

Thank you & wrap up

Picture time! The 24h hackathon came to an end. It's time to say our goodbyes.

Prizes

All participants will be awarded with an Open Badge. The teams with the best solution will win the following prizes, in addition to competing in the final global DigiEduHack award contest: 1st place: Fnac coupon of 350 euro, 2nd place: Fnac coupon of 250 euro and 3rd place: Fnac coupon of 200 euro.
