The selection of the DigiEduHack finalists was done by the DigiEduHack Steering Group members, who are all experts in digital education and who are representing different countries in Europe. The evaluation was coordinated by the European Commission. All in all, the DigiEduHack Steering Group evaluated 33 winning solutions from all the 21 countries involved in DigiEduHack around the globe.

The finalists were announced at the 8th European University Business Forum in Brussels today:
"It was not easy choosing the finalists, the quality was outstanding. I wish the ideas will get shared widely, so that everyone can learn about this excellent work and we can get Europe ready for the digital age", said Director General Themis Christophidou at the European Commission's Directorate General for Education and Culture (DG EAC), when announcing the finalists.
