Solution description

Safety equipment that can be added on (older) forklifts.

Solutions:

1. AUTOMATIC HANDBRAKE:

Add a dead man’s switch on the seat that enables the brake after the driver leaves the seat.

2. PROXIMITY SENSOR:

Detects obstacles on the way of the forks and a light and sound signal is sent to the driver.

3. REVERSE CAMERA:

Adding a reverse camera to enable the driver to see to the back of the lift.

4. SAFETY BELT:

The forklift can only be moved when the belt is locked.

5. TILT SENSOR:

Balancing the forklift with lowering of the forks.
