DPI System is an evaluation system for Educational Institutions based on AI, to evaluate the development of competences through adaptative learning. An integral evaluation has 3 phases: Diagnosis, Process and Integration. In each step, we will have a 50% percent participation, and the other 50% will correspond to the teachers. So, first, to build the Diagnosis (on the first days of the semester) the system compilates all the previous educational data about each student. Then, the teacher will apply an activity/exam to build his/her diagnosis up to that day. The combination of both will give as a result the competences that the student has up to that day, divided in their three corresponsing components: knowledge, ability, and attitude (each represented by a different percentage). The software will evaluate knowledge, and half of the ability, and the teacher will evaluate the other half of ability and attitude. This will tell you where the student is, and based on the objectives stablished by the Institution, where should he/she be at the end of the semester. That's when the Process starts. In here we have two options: the Educational Institution can adapt and implement the customized educational plan for the student to reach the goal, and/or we can give them the option to use the compilance of our Open Educational Resources (OER) if they don't know what process to follow, or they could even offer this service if the student wants to improve his/her competences on his/her own. On this phase, we will be incharge of tracking the progress of the student in each competence he/she needs to develop. On the last phase, Integration, we are able to evaluate again on the same way the student, and provide him/her the new porcentage, for him/she to be able to compare it, and see his/her progress. By the time more Universities use this program, we will also provide the Institution an average porcentage of their students compared to other national, and even international students.
Nowadays, the traditional evaluation systems are inefficient on evaluating if the student is really learning certain topic, or even on a more complex level, on knowing if he or she is really acquiring a competence, which is the focus that employers are now looking after on candidates, competences.
Moreover, knowing that each individual is unique; that we learn in different ways and that we have certain basic competences developed in different levels, an effective evaluation system would need to be personalized.
By changing the way we evaluate, the educational system will change as a consequence.
In México 2 out of 5 people are unemployed because of the lack of competences required from the job market.
Solution target group
Educational Institutions for tackling in an efficient, measurable and comparable way the acquisition and evaluation of learning of its students, so they are able to achieve on improvement of the competences of their students.
The impact would be more capable professionals that then already have this competences developed.
The way to measure that is based on the rates of employed professionals trained by this way vs traditional evaluation systems.

Today there is not ane similar product in the market, the difference of other software with us is that they manage or model the compleate learning process and we just focuse on the evaluation system, where each and every one of the educational institutions can customize the competences they want to achieve. The methology is based on a 50% artificial intelligence software and 50% professor so the evaluation is more objective and really tells the competences and skills the student have.
DPI is a model that is not only applicable for education but for many industries and measure the capacity and competences of the workers in for example production plants. Is a platform that is build just once and can be sell for many other companies in many different industries. Since is a SAS it doesn't matter the geographical location they just need to have WIFI acess.
Since is Canvas is 50 cents per student per month we can charge a fee of 25 cents per student per month and be profitable since our cost per student is around 10 cents in a minimum of 10,000 students. The platform we are developing is not that huge so we dont need to much infraestructure besides we at the begining need a lot of labor force from programmers is just at the beginnig after that is just manteinance and support.

We believe we did really good as a team since we were able to emerge our talents, and we all had previous experience with entrepreneurship. We all agree we would definetely continue working as a team in the future.
