Solution description

Our solution is to create an app that will provide students and other users with several different services. The main part of the app is educational materials (articles, blogs) based on which fun and entertaining quizzes will be conducted. The app will also allow users to meet people with similar problems and share their experiences anonymously. Of courses, professional help will also be included and the users will be able to buy hours of therapy via the points they get from the quizzes. The main goal of our app is to raise awareness about mental health in our target audience and to do so, we use digital tools. The success of our project will be measured in terms of revenue, however, the main indicator will be feedback from our users.

Solution context

Mental health is considered to be the main crisis in the 21st century. In fact, the covid-19 pandemic deepened this problem even further, while there are still stigmas and stereotypes about people with such kinds of issues. Our experience as students has been severe ever since we started online learning, so, speaking from our experience, a platform like ME is much needed for students and other members of society. The main challenge is to end the stigma and create a useful platform for sake of a better future.

Solution target group

The main targets of our app are school and university students who are approximately 14-22 y/o with low and medium incomes. The users will deepen their knowledge through fun blogs and quizzes.

Solution impact

Georgian people, especially school and university students, will receive reliable information about mental health issues and acquire knowledge that will help them acknowledge their personal mental problems and seek help from professional psychologists if needed.

Solution tweet text

Raise your awareness about mental health problems in a fun and interactive way :)

Solution innovativeness

Even though our app is not quite unique on a worldwide level, it will be the first digital platform with the above-mentioned functions for the Georgian market. Similar apps can be found internationally, however, "ME" will be unique for its mission and importance at the local scale.

Solution transferability

Our app is educational and recommendational. The chatting function may be used for various contexts, depending on the users' preferences.

Solution sustainability

We will collaborate with IT and psychology students and graduates who will help us turn our plan into reality. We'll also work with Mental Health Centre and attract investments from various projects.

Our app "ME" will be updated constantly with new articles, quizzes, and challenges.

Solution team work

Our team has been working together for a while now and we intend to actively continue participating in various business projects.
