A new solution to the shortage of parking lots for bicycles

In many urban areas, esspecially in central and northern Europe parking your bike can be challanging. There is not enough space dedicated to this issue. So many people are affraid their bike might get stolen and they decide not to use the bike to get around.

Solution description

The solution ist to use the fassades of buildings to store bycicles. A new mechanism is supposed to be added to excisting walls of buildings, that can store the bike in a proper and safe way. 

Solution target group

The target group are mainly office buildings, schools and universites. 

Solution impact

Through this technology you don't have to worry your bike might get stolen anymore. At the same time it is possible to safe urban space. 

If there are a lot of bikes in the parking lot, it looks like a peace of art. Since it is visibal how many bikes there are , for example it would be possible to implement a Competition as incentive for riding in a company.
