Björn Bachmann has a background in Politics (BA), International Studies (MA) and Educational Studies (MSc). After his traineeship at the Council of the European Union in the unit of “Education, Youth, Culture and Sports”, he worked for European Schoolnet as a project coordinator in several STEM projects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics). 

Currently, he is a policy officer at the DAAD Brussels Office (German Academic Exchange Service) involved in the European Digital Education Hub and the Erasmus Mundus Support Structure.
