Angela Jafarova

Angela Jafarova ir Co-founder of Datorium EdTech. After 15 years of academic experience as a university educator, she has always been passionate about technology and opportunities it can provide to innovate the field of education. Her journey in academia has provided her with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the educational landscape. Leveraging this extensive experience, she became co-founder of Datorium EdTech company - aiming to integrate cutting-edge technologies and innovative solutions into education. Datorium team mission is to transform the learning experience, abolish grades and make high- education accessible to all.

With a decade of experience in digital skills training, Angela has become a recognized expert in the field – at the moment the main focus is AI in education. She has organised both national and international large scale events in order to enhance digital skills of students, teachers and entrepreneurs. This background has provided her with a wealth of knowledge and a deep understanding of the technological advancements shaping education today. Datorium team has created first AI assistant for teachers with possibility to adjust content creation for national curriculum.

Angela has also contributed significantly to boosting coding and digital skill of school age girls in Latvia by establishing PyGirls program, that enables girls age 14-19 to take their first steps in coding and consider IT as their carrier choice in the future. During the 4 years more than 800 girls in Latvia have completed the program.
