Aitic’s Journey
A solution proposed for the challenge AI for Everyone – How to Teach Everyone to Work with AI?
Solution details
- Come and play! Do you know how helpful AI can be? Try the game Aitic’s Journey, which will show you AI in a whole new way. It doesn’t matter if you don’t know what AI or a chatbot is.
Task cards, various AI tools redirected through our website via QR codes, a game board, and at least one phone with internet access. Our goal is to teach everyone how to work with AI. We address this by bringing AI into families and schools in a playful and accessible way. - Implementation:
Developing a game prototype with at least 20 cards (by the end of the week), piloting this version with pre-service teachers or in-service teachers we can reach as teachers from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (by the end of the year). We will introduce iterations, updates, and improvements to the game, followed by writing a project proposal (e.g., Erasmus+, KEGA, VEGA) to secure funding and ensure free accessibility for everyone (distributing the game to schools, families, and disadvantaged groups). - Potential obstacles: insufficient funding or receiving only partial project support; internet outages.
The prototype can be directly used in informatics classes, enabling a large sample of students to become familiar with AI principles. Students are likely to take it home as a family game, engaging users of all ages—from children to adults.
Measuring success: through research—examining users’ attitudes toward AI integration and testing acquired skills in the use of digital technologies/AI.
