Hana Marešová

Doc. PhDr. Hana Marešová, Ph.D., MBA, is an associate professor at the Faculty of Education, Palacky University in Olomouc (Czech Republic) and head of the Department of Strategy and Quality and manager of quality management at Palacky University. She is an expert guarantor and member of Steering Committees within the Local Action Plans for Education in the statutory city of Olomouc, statutory city of Přerov and in the town of Uničov, which implements an education strategy for primary education level.
Over the years, she has held positions of Vice-Rector for Strategy and Quality at Palacky University, Vice-Dean for study affairs, lifelong learning and organization at Faculty of Education, Palacky University. She was also head of Training Centre of State Information Politics in Education of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic at Palacky University and the head of the Centre for Innovation in Education at Palacky University. She worked as a member of the working groups at the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic focused on the career system of teachers, entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills and co-operator of preparation the Strategy of the State Information Policy in Education in the Czech Republic. She was the coordinator of the ESERO project of the European Space Agency for Moravia Region in the Czech Republic.
In her scientific and teaching work she focuses on the topics of new media in education, the use of 3D virtual reality in teaching and aspects of digitalization of the educational process. She was head or co-operator of more than 30 projects mostly focused on use of ICT in education.
She is certificated lecturer of module ICT in Czech language teaching by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic within the State Information Policy in Education and certificated worker of Distance Education and E-learning by National Centre for Distance Education.
She is a member of the Union of School Informatics of the Czech Republic. She is member of the Board of Directors of the Innovation Centre of the Olomouc Region. She is an assessor of Horizon projects (European Commission) and projects of Grant Agency of the Czech Republic.
