Maja Videnovik

Maja Videnovik is a computer science teacher in primary school “Krste Misirkov” Skopje and co-founder of the NGO “Center for innovations and digital education Dig-Ed” in North Macedonia. She is a PhD student at the Faculty of Computer Science and Engineering, Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje, focusing on using digital games in education. Maja received a master’s degree in educational management on “Managing the ICT integration in education”. She is an author of more than 20 research papers concerning technology integration in education.

Maja is dedicated to lifelong learning and has participated in more than 100 different kinds of conferences, workshops, seminars, trainings, courses and webinars. She has been a master trainer on various topics concerning the innovative use of technology in education and developing students' critical thinking, problem-solving and coding skills; a local expert for the development of standards and professional competences for teachers, teacher mentors and teacher advisers; team member for curriculum development.

Her work in Dig-Ed is dedicated to finding different ways for teachers' continuous professional development, enabling high-quality teaching and student-centred learning, with the special interest in utilizing digital technology for creating engaging learning environments and use of educational games in the learning process.
