Demonstrating Digital Skills: Cahul Hacks for Sustainable Goods
Over the course of 24 hours (12 hours each on two consecutive days), the teams will enhance their digital skills by working on creating projects, applications, websites, or other relevant solutions. Throughout the event, mentors will be available to guide and support the teams. At the end of the hackathon, the teams will present their ideas to a panel of judges, and the most promising ones will be recognised and awarded.
The location of the onsite event is Cahul town, 1 Independentei Street, 3909.

Specific conditions to apply
Participants must be aged 15 or older to take part in the hackathon. All projects developed during the hackathon must align with the theme of "Tech solutions for the environment" to address environmental challenges, and demonstrate individual and team competencies with digital skills. Teams are required to present their project ideas to a panel of judges at the conclusion of the hackathon. Participants should be committed to dedicating 24 hours over two days to develop their projects and actively contribute to the initiative's goals.The final requirement is that projects should have a clear potential for tangible, positive impact on the local community or the environment in the southern Moldova region.

Expectations: We expect that participants will actively develop and refine their technological and problem-solving abilities, ultimately channeling their newfound skills into projects with real, tangible benefits for their community environment.
Requirements: To participate, individuals must be at least 15 years old and form teams to work collaboratively on projects centred around the theme of "Tech solutions for the environment." Engaging with mentors and presenting their ideas to a panel of judges are essential aspects of the hackathon. Commitment to dedicating 24 hours over two days to project development is required, with the condition that the projects should exhibit clear potential for delivering positive, community-focused impacts.
Available Support
Participants in the initiative will have access to a comprehensive support system aimed at fostering their success. High-skilled mentors will play a pivotal role in guiding and mentoring the teams, offering their wealth of expertise and knowledge to refine projects and provide insights. In addition, participants will have access to computers and the Internet, ensuring they have the necessary tools and resources to bring their ideas to life.
