DigiEduHack Global Awards 2024: Celebrating and Promoting Innovation in Digital Education
Each DigiEduHack edition culminates with the Global Award ceremony, celebrating the best solutions that successfully tackle challenges in digital education through innovation and creativity.
The Global Awards of 2024 reflect DigiEduHack's core commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and equity and recognise achievements across different levels of expertise and solution maturity.
This year, the awards are structured into two main categories:
- Beginner: For teams that are new to digital education, have limited hackathon experience, or are in the early stages of developing their solutions.
- Experienced: For teams with more mature solutions, previous hackathon experience, or demonstrated expertise in digital education.
A total of four awards will be granted, with winning solutions categorised based on their focus, either on social impact or disruptive technology.
Awards for winning teams
All winning teams will receive the following recognition:
- Become DigiEduHack Global Ambassadors.
- Be invited to attend the DigiEduHack awards ceremony in Brussels as a part of an event organized by the European Commission, with travel expenses fully covered.
- Be awarded an official certificate and a DigiEduHack hoodie.
In addition, each team will have the opportunity to choose from a range of awards. These are tailored to empower and enhance their growth beyond DigiEduHack 2024 and symbolise the event’s mission to foster grassroots innovation and excellence in digital education.
Beginner Awards
Beginner award winners can choose from the following options, selecting the reward that best suits them:
- Four 1-to-2-hour interactive webinars delivered online via WebEx, provided by CARSA’s innovation and business management consultants.
- A one-year premium software license (options include Adobe Creative Cloud, GitHub Pro, Unity Pro, JetBrains IDE, ChatGPT, and more).
- Tailored certifying course on Udemy, designed to support specific skill development.
- An Interrail pass for 5 travel days for up to 7 individuals.
Experienced Awards
As in the previous category, the winning team in the experienced award can choose from the following options to select the reward that best suits them:
- Up to 4 hours of 1-to-1 business coaching/mentoring (delivered online via WebEx) provided by CARSA’s innovation and business management consultants.
- A one-year premium software license (options include Adobe Creative Cloud, GitHub Pro, Unity Pro, JetBrains IDE, ChatGPT, and more).
- Attendance at an event related to digital education in the winners’ country of residence or nearby, with associated costs fully covered.
- An Interrail pass for 5 travel days for up to 7 individuals.
