Kadri Maasik
EdTech Estonia
Kadri has extensive public sector experience in Estonia, having worked in three ministries. At the Ministry of Finance, she was responsible for public budgetary policy, including EU structural funds. She worked as a Deputy Secretary General in the Ministry of Education and Research and later in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. As a member of management in the Ministry of Education and Research she was responsible for education policy analysis, funding of educational institutions and school networks as well as digital competences and IT in education. At the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, she coordinated the 2030 foreign policy strategy and launched the Estonian Centre for International Development. She has also worked as a CEO of Estonian EdTech cluster. Kadri has a master's degree in economics and public administration and a Master of Science in Engineering in Information Technologies from TalTech. In addition, he has been active on the boards of several Estonian companies and foundations, such as AS Hoolekandeteenused (care for people with special psychological needs) and has chaired the board of Information Technology Foundation for Education (HITSA) and SA Archimedes (international cooperation in education). |
