The DigiEduHack Aktobe 2025 aims to empower educational institutions and organisations to strengthen their digital transformation capabilities. The hackathon will focus on developing innovative solutions that enhance teamwork, communication, and efficiency in educational and administrative processes through digital tools.
Participants will explore new approaches to digital management, workflow automation, and the integration of AI-powered tools that improve organisational performance and learning outcomes.
The event will bring together students, educators, and professionals from various sectors to collaborate, share ideas, and build prototypes that support effective leadership, decision-making, and sustainable digital growth.
Hosted by Aktobe Hub, the hackathon will provide mentoring sessions, hands-on workshops, and networking opportunities to connect local innovators with the global DigiEduHack community.

Who can join?
Specific conditions to apply
Participants must be at least 15 years old. The hackathon welcomes talented secondary school students, VET students, university students, teachers, educators, and professionals interested in digital transformation and education innovation. No coding experience is required — creativity, teamwork, and motivation to solve real educational challenges are the key factors. Teams of 3–5 members are encouraged, though individual participants can register and will be matched with a team by the organisers.

Challenge and goals
The main goal of DigiEduHack Aktobe 2025 is to strengthen the digital and organisational capacity of educational institutions in the Aktobe region. Through this hackathon, participants will develop innovative digital tools, platforms, and strategies that improve collaboration, communication, and efficiency in both teaching and administration.
Expected outcomes include:
- Creation of practical prototypes or solutions that address current challenges in educational management and digital transformation.
- Development of participants’ digital, leadership, and teamwork skills through real-life project-based learning.
- Establishment of a sustainable local community of educators, students, and innovators focused on education technology.
- Strengthening cooperation between educational organisations, public institutions, and the private sector to support digital growth in education.
The event will contribute to building an ecosystem of innovation in the Aktobe region, empowering educators and learners to embrace new digital opportunities.
Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants
Participants are expected to be motivated students, educators, or professionals interested in digital transformation, innovation, and education management. No prior hackathon experience is required — creativity and teamwork are the main keys to success. Teams should consist of 3–5 members and must develop a practical idea or prototype within 48 hours. Basic digital literacy and enthusiasm for collaboration are essential. All participants are encouraged to present their final solutions to the jury at the end of the event.
Available Support
Participants will receive full support from the Aktobe Hub team, including access to mentors, technical experts, and digital tools. Throughout the hackathon, there will be workshops on project design, presentation skills, and prototyping. The organisers will provide working space, internet connection, refreshments, and necessary materials. Mentors from IT, education, and business sectors will guide participants in developing viable and impactful solutions. Post-hackathon mentoring and networking opportunities will also be offered.

DigiEduHack Aktobe 2025 will take place over two days, from 14 to 15 November 2025, at Aktobe Hub. The event will start with an opening ceremony and introduction of the challenge theme — “Organisational Capability in Education.” Participants will then form teams and work intensively on their ideas with the support of mentors. Workshops, networking sessions, and checkpoints will guide teams throughout the hackathon. On the second day, teams will finalise their prototypes and pitch their solutions to the jury. The event will conclude with an award ceremony and networking opportunities for future collaboration.
