DigiEduHack 2025

Rethinking education in the age of digital skills.

Digital Co-creation:Designing Tomorrow's Lesson,Teacher-Student Partnership

Modern education requires a shift from one-way teaching to collaborative co-creation. The most effective learning environments are those where students take an active role as pedagogical designers alongside teachers.
This challenge explores how collaborative platforms and AI can support an efficient and ethical workflow for lesson design.

Participants will design a functional prototype (platform, digital workflow template, or interactive resource) that:

  • Demonstrates Collaborative Design between students and teachers;
  • Integrates Ethical AI Use for idea generation, synthesis, or personalization;
  • Facilitates Constructive Two-Way Feedback.

The solution must be practical, replicable, and visibly enhance the quality of teaching and learning.

Challenge and goals

The challenge aims to generate innovative approaches that transform the student-teacher relationship into a creative partnership.

Participants will deliver:

1. A prototype or detailed workflow that clearly illustrates the stages of co-creation.

2. Co-created digital teaching materials.

3. A justification of how the solution increases student motivation (through co-authorship) and supports teachers' digital skills.

4. A plan for the ethical and transparent use of technology.

The winning solutions will be promoted for pilot testing in schools in the region.

Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants

Teams will develop a functional concept based on accessible tools.

The project must:

1. Illustrate a complete co-creation cycle (from idea to testing).

2. Clearly define the roles and contributions (simulated or real) of the student and teacher.

3. Be presented through a demo and a pitch of no more than 5 minutes.

Available Support

Participants will benefit from technical and pedagogical support throughout the event, including:

  • Thematic workshops on digital co-creation, participatory pedagogies, and design thinking;
  • Mentorship on AI tools for collaborative creation (ChatGPT, Gemini, Canva, H5P, etc.);
  • Training sessions on the ethical and responsible use of technologies;
  • Access to the Future Lab at “Spiru Haret” Lyceum – equipped with computers, internet, and creative tools;
  • Ongoing support from trainers in educational innovation, teachers, and digital learning experts;
  • Meals, workspace, participation certificates, and post-event visibility for the most successful projects.
