Welcome to DigiEduHack @Tec, a dynamic hackathon aimed at revolutionising education through emerging technology. Centred around two key questions— "How might we push human flourishing through disruptive emerging tech-based education?" and "How might we co-create human flourishing through education with emerging technology?"—this event promises to explore impactful learning experiences.
Join us for two inspiring days on November 12th and 13th, 2025, at the Tecnológico de Monterrey campuses in Mexico City, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Querétaro, Chihuahua and Puebla.
Open to Tec de Monterrey students, the hackathon invites visionaries, entrepreneurs, and tech enthusiasts to participate individually or as teams. Together, you'll explore innovative solutions that can reshape the future of education.
DigiEduHack es un hackathon global que se celebra anualmente, organizado por la Comisión Europea y coordinado por diversas instituciones en todo el mundo. El hackathon tiene como objetivo desarrollar soluciones innovadoras a los desafíos educativos y redefinir el proceso de aprendizaje.
DigiEduHack en el Tec inicia en 2019 como hackathon en Campus Queretaro, (parte del movimiento de hackathones globales simultaneos que lanza la Comision Europea). En 2019 el equipo ganador del Tec gana tambien a nivel global y presenta la idea de negocio en Brusellas así representando el tec.
En 2020 y 2021 se lleva la iniciativa a nivel nacional, haciendo el hackathon de forma online, involucrando a todos los campus del Tec y llegando a muchos mas alumnos y creando impacto en la educación. En 2022 no se llevo a cabo el hackathon por la reestructura de la gerencia en Comisión Europea.
En 2023 se realizó una colaboración entre Escuela de Negocios, IEEGL y IFE para lanzar el hackathon de forma simultanea y presencial en 4 campus sede (GDL, CCM, MTY y QRO) y los 4 ganadores de cada region presentaron sus soluciones en MTY en el marco de INCmty en Noviembre. Uno de los cuatro equipos fue seleccionado como finalista global en la categoria Beginner Disruptive Technology.
