Our open data hackathon plays a significant role in reimagining education in the digital skills era by nurturing the talents of promising high school and university students. The competition, organized by Palacký University's Faculty of Science, invites teams to develop innovative ideas using the provided open data. The most outstanding student team will receive support for furthering their knowledge and skills in digital technologies. Meanwhile, the Olomouc Region Innovation Centre will select the most creative idea for year-round training and skill development. Additionally, educational lectures during the hackathon will enhance the participants' digital competencies and provide targeted professional training.

Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants

Teams will have 48 hours to create their own projects, which they will present to a panel of expert judges. Participants, whether in teams or as individuals, must use the open data sources provided by the organisers.
