DigiEduHack 2025

Rethinking education in the age of digital skills.

Get ready: the 6th edition of DigiEduHack will take place 7-16 Nov 2025

Seize the opportunity, let's support people-driven digital transformation in education together!

Learning Experience Reimagined: AI-Powered Self-Reflection and Growth

Education today must move beyond the simple delivery of content. Learners need spaces where they can reflect, adapt, and collaborate.

This challenge explores how digital tools and large language models (LLMs) can transform the learning experience—from passive consumption to active self-development within a supportive community.

Participants will design a digital resource, platform, or pedagogical practice that enables learners to:

  • plan, monitor, and reflect on their learning progress;
  • receive AI-assisted, personalised guidance adapted to their goals and context;
  • connect with peers and mentors for shared feedback and motivation;
  • ensure transparency, ethics, and privacy in every AI interaction.

The prototype may take many forms—an app, plugin, classroom workflow, or reflective practise model—but it must demonstrate how technology can personalise learning while reinforcing human connection and trust.

The address to attend this onsite event is: CNIDE „Clasa Viitorului”, blocul 1, etajul 3, str. Ion Creangă 1, Chișinău

Challenge and goals

The challenge aims to generate innovative, learner-centred digital solutions that enhance reflection, autonomy, and collaboration.

 Participants will:

  • Design a prototype or pedagogical model that enables learners to track their own progress and growth;
  • Demonstrate how AI and LLMs can adapt learning to personal goals and contexts;
  • Strengthen peer learning and mentoring through transparent digital interaction;
  • Provide ethical and inclusive design principles for reflective learning tools;
  • Produce outcomes ready for pilot testing in Moldovan schools or lifelong-learning programmes by 2026.
Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants

Teams are expected to build a prototype or conceptual model that demonstrates how digital tools—preferably supported by AI or LLMs—can make learning personalised, reflective, and collaborative.

Your project should:

  • Show a complete learning cycle: plan, act, reflect, adapt;
  • Include peer or mentor interaction elements;
  • Respect ethical AI principles: transparency, safety, and data protection;
  • Work in Romanian and/or English, accessible on standard school devices;
  • Deliver a short demo and explanatory brief (max 7 min) at the end of the event.
Available Support

Participants will receive both technical and pedagogical support throughout the event:

  • Mentoring sessions on AI tools, prompt design, and responsible data use;
  • Workshops on reflective learning, self-regulated learning (SRL), and digital pedagogy;
  • Access to the Future Classroom Lab Moldova facilities—devices, high-speed internet, creative tools, and working spaces;
  • Continuous guidance from educational technology trainers, AI experts, and instructional designers;
  • Meals, workspace, certificates, and post-event visibility for outstanding projects.
