Challenge and goals
The goal of this challenge is to inspire students to engage with learning in a fun and interactive way. Participants should be encouraged to think creatively and design digital learning experiences that motivate and support students. The challenge also aims to promote problem-solving skills and explore ideas such as gamification and personalisation.
The expected outcome is a concept or prototype of a digital pet that motivates learning. Participants should show how the pet could interact with students, grow, and respond to different educational activities. The designs can be visual or functional, demonstrating the key features and interactions of the digital pet.
Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants
Participants are expected to create a concept or prototype of a digital learning pet. The pet should engage students in a fun and interactive way, motivating them to learn and explore different subjects. Participants can design its appearance, features, and interactions, showing how it grows or responds to learning activities.
The solution can be a visual design, a storyboard, or a basic interactive prototype. Creativity and originality are encouraged. Clear documentation or presentation of the concept is required, so others can understand how the digital pet works.
Available Support
Participants will receive guidance and encouragement from mentors throughout the challenge. They can ask questions, get feedback on ideas, and receive tips to develop creative and engaging digital pet concepts. Resources and inspiration will be available to help them explore different approaches and bring their ideas to life.
