Rethinking education in the age of digital skills.

University Students Tackling Linguistic & Cultural Injustices in Education

In today’s increasingly multicultural and multilingual societies, collaboration, solidarity, and social cohesion are more vital than ever. Education should be a shared space for co-learning, where diverse voices come together to break down barriers and challenge biases linked to language and culture. Yet, linguistic and cultural injustices continue to shape educational experiences, marginalising certain communities and limiting inclusion.

This Challenge invites university students across Europe to imagine and co-create innovative ways to foster linguistic equity and cultural justice in learning spaces and through inclusive pedagogies. Participants will work collaboratively to design ideas, tools, or initiatives that empower learners from all backgrounds to thrive and contribute meaningfully. The Challenge is part of the EU-funded project BOLD (Building on Linguistic and Cultural Diversity for social action within and beyond European universitiesboldproject.eu) and is organised by Web2Learn in collaboration with BOLD partners.
