Innovative education expert empowering teachers to integrate technology, AI, entrepreneurship and wellbeing approaches into learning.
Kornélia Lohyňová is an experienced teacher trainer and education consultant from Slovakia with over 25 years of practice in teaching and designing innovative learning experiences. She specialises in innovative teaching with technology, entrepreneurship education, project-based learning, and social-emotional learning.
Author of EntreLearn – the Entrepreneurial Learning Toolkit for Teachers, she is an innovative education advisor, workshop leader, and invited speaker, as well as an eTwinning Ambassador. She was a member of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) of the European Commission team that created LifeComp in Action and the Scaffold Cards. Kornélia works as an expert for the Slovak Erasmus+ National Agency and coordinates the Erasmus+ programme at her school. She has been training teachers for many years on the effective use of digital technologies and, in recent years, has focused on the application of artificial intelligence, digital wellbeing, and sustainability in education.
Wellbeing and its multiple dimensions are at the core of her current professional interests. She designs and moderates online and onsite professional development courses and seminars for the European School Education Platform. Kornélia was a finalist of the Global Teacher Prize Slovakia and is an alumna of the U.S. Department of State International Visitor Leadership Program on Women and Entrepreneurship.
