Webinar 1: AI-Driven Personalized Learning in European Classrooms
Held in April 2025
The webinar explored the everyday reality of AI in European classrooms, examining how tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and LLaMA are being used by students and educators alike. Speakers from across higher education and research shared both the opportunities—such as improved student confidence and creative AI applications—and the challenges, including over-reliance, ethical concerns, and the need for digital literacy.
Discussions highlighted that ethical responsibility must be shared among developers, educators, institutions, and policymakers, while reinforcing that human connection, empathy, and critical thinking remain essential in the age of AI. A strong message emerged: teachers are not being replaced—they are being redefined.
Webinar 2: Building Digital Literacy Through Hackathon Challenges
Held in May 2025
From critical thinking to responsible digital citizenship, the session will unpack how challenge-based learning can bring the DigComp and DigCompEdu frameworks to life in classrooms and communities. Participants will hear real stories from previous DigiEduHack events—how students tackled online safety, misinformation, and digital ethics challenges. We will feature practical examples of how digital literacy outcomes can be embedded into hackathon design. Participants will walk away with ready-to-use insights for planning their own impactful challenges.
