The virtual world is divided into thematic zones, each representing a specific subject. Within these zones, glowing portals lead to subtopics and lessons aligned with the curriculum. Players interact with NPCs, complete missions, and solve puzzles, fostering active learning, critical thinking, and teamwork. Teachers can guide lessons, assign tasks, and track progress through tools like real-time analytics and adaptive difficulty settings.

Context

Modern education faces challenges in engaging digital-native learners, with traditional methods often failing to inspire. This disengagement reduces motivation and potential, while teachers struggle to balance creativity with standardized curriculum. These issues are particularly pronounced in underserved areas with limited access to resources and technology. In response to the DigiEduHack challenge, we propose a solution combining gamification, collaboration, and cloud-based technology. Gamification increases student engagement by turning learning into an interactive, rewarding experience. Multiplayer missions foster teamwork and essential soft skills like cooperation and leadership. Cloud-based accessibility ensures that educational resources are available to all, bridging the digital divide and providing equitable learning opportunities.
