EduSphera

A solution proposed for the challenge EduArt: Where Creativity Fuels Learning

Solution summary

EduSphera aims at revolutionising the aesthetics of education by providing an experimental learning environment with hologram systems that provides students with a 180-degree view of 3D objects, allowing for real-time interaction and deeper comprehension of complex concepts.

EduSphera aims to help both, students to better comprehend the lessons and develop a deeper understanding of complex concepts, and teachers to create a better visual learning atmosphere for their students.

Through the use of hologram systems, EduSphera has the objective of overcoming the limitations on experimental resources, lab equipments and technological scarcity, by making learning accessible for everyone, especially in remote areas. Moreover, this system is 15 times more affordable than existing AR/VR technologies, ensuring a much wider outreach.

Context

Basically, up to 70% of failing cases are because of lack of practical experience. Main problems include lack of experimental resources, lab equipments, technological scarcity. And supposedly working alternatives are AR/VR technologies, which is very expensive and not accessible for everyone, especially in remote areas. We can imagine that to provide 1 classroom of 30 student with VR glasses, we need 30 VR tech. It means 30 students = 30 VR. At the end of the day, the schools that are not able to buy lab equipment are also not able to buy VR glasses, which makes VR tech useless for low income places. This is exactly where EduSphere comes in.

Who Benefits?

Main target group is schoolers and university students in remote areas. In their practical sessions, our target audience gets great chance of having digital experimental learning experience with 180 degree view supported hologram. It will help them to better comprehend the knowledge and create sustainable and deeper understanding of complex concepts. It can also be useful for individual trainers to create better visual learning atmosphere for students.

Impact

We revolutionize education esthetics in terms of providing accessible and affordable experimental learning experience. We provide practical visualization and real time interaction with 3D objects in hologram system. At the same time, we provide it in a affordable manner so that unsimilar from AR/VR technologies, our device can be used in all areas by all financial levels. With our system, it is possible to interact and visualize 3D objects for all classroom with just 1 product. We believe with this way, we can provide education accessible for everyone.

We measure the impact and success of our solution with making education and practical learning experience accessible and affordable for every learner. We measure the success rate with the number of involved students to the our hologram system, especially in remote areas. We also support inclusive societies in terms of creating the chance of interacting with different objects in hologram.

Team work

Now, you might think why we are the perfect team to reinvent this idea. We are Platon Tech team having complementary backgrounds in digital & offline marketing, AI engineering, AR/VR technologies, and selling. Our team has successfully gotten initial pre-seed investment in our previous edtech startup. We are the world champions of reputable World Robotics Olympiad, Battle of Minds Competitions. Now, we are here to bring revolution to education industry!
Our AR/Developers and Robotics Engineers will be focusing on more sensitive and user-friendly interface creation of our product. They will customize the plata and sensors to make it as much cost-efficient as possible.
Our AI and Computer Vision developers will be working on more complex and smart visualizations to create better environment to comprehend the knowledge for students. With this way we provide adaptive/individualized learning for each of students.
Our sales and marketing people will be dealing with partnerships with schools.

Innovativeness

EduSphere has unique value proposition in terms of providing 3D augmented reality learning experience affordable and accessible. Basically, we provide our unique solution with 15 times cheaper price outperforming all of alternatives and competitors. Also, we support inclusive societies to provide them valuabe chance to interact with environment.

Transferability

Our solution is also transferable. In further stages, it can be used in all type of training courses for professional purposes. It can also be applied to sport to train people with augmented reality solutions with cost-efficient manner. It can also be applied to inclusive societies to democratize their life. It can be used for homeshoolers as well to provide AR effect at their homes.

Sustainability

We aim to colloborate with schools and universities in the first stage to get partnerships. With B2B business model, we focus on educational institutions to sell our device and provide maintenance services. In our projections, we have 19.000$ of LTV (customer life time value) and 1360$ of CAC (customer acquision cost), which brings our ratio to LTV/CAC = 14 and creates opportunities for us to sustain our place in the market. Our marginal cost is 15% in B2B services. In later stages, we also aim to work with B2C direct sales model to capture more of the market. All of this vision brings our timeline to switch to profitable business (breakeven period) to 2 years.
