Gabriele Tealdo
2024 DigiEduHack Global Winner and UniMate co-Founder
Gabriele Tealdo is a Master’s student in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Trento, currently on exchange at Tampere University in Finland. Passionate about educational innovation and user-centred design, he is the co-founder of UniMate, a digital platform for academic guidance that empowers students to make informed university choices through peer-based reviews and AI-driven recommendations. The project was awarded first place in the DigiEduHack 2024 organized by the European Commission and has since been validated in collaboration with several Italian universities. Within UniMate, Gabriele focuses on user research, experience design, and the ethical use of emerging technologies in education. His broader interests lie at the intersection of psychology, design, and technology, with the goal of creating meaningful digital experiences that foster reflection, inclusion, and personal growth in the learning journey.
