2025 İzmir DigiEduHack: Future Innovative Classrooms Learning Scenarios

Inspired by the European Commission's Digital Education Hackathon (DigiEduHack) initiative, the local eTwinning Hackathon (https://meb.ai/UWdXPg5) was organized by the İzmir Provincial Directorate of National Education eTwinning Coordination Unit on October 14-15, 2023. The 6th edition of Digi-Edu-Hack, titled “2025 DigiEduHack Izmir: Rethinking Education in the Age of Digital Skills: Learning Scenarios for the Innovative Classrooms of the Future,” will be organized by our directorate. Teachers developing learning scenarios at the hackathon will work on technology-focused interdisciplinary eTwinning projects with teachers from İzmir, Turkey, and Europe. They will integrate innovative approaches such as artificial intelligence applications, STEAM, coding, robotics, Web 2.0, Web 3.0, virtual reality, etc. into the curriculum. Teachers will transform their schools into innovative learning environments by improving their physical facilities. Teachers who apply for the hackathon will write technology-focused learning scenarios as a team on November 6, 2025. Teachers who make a difference in education by developing learning scenarios to overcome challenges will be awarded participation certificates. The jury will evaluate the learning scenarios on November 14-15, 2025. Learning screnarios will be published in January 2026. The onsite address for this blended event is: Fevzipaşa Mh. Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants

First, teachers from residing in İzmir will write learning scenarios. Teachers from İzmir will collaborate and communicate with teachers from Türkiye, and Europe. They  will work across disciplines in technology-enriched classrooms. They integrate innovative approaches such as artificial intelligence applications, STEAM, coding, robotics, Web2.0, Web3.0, augmented reality, virtual reality, mixed reality, etc., into the curriculum. Teachers will voluntarily improve the physical facilities at their schools and transform learning spaces into innovative learning environments within the scope of European Schoolnet Future Classrooms projects. They will apply for European Schoolnet accreditation.

Guides,  tools and techniques for idea generation and development, IP Guidelines, PPT Pitching template, Evaluation Material are downloaded from website to put into practice.
