Challenge and goals

The main goal of the hackathon is to empower participants to explore how emerging technologies can reshape and improve education. By fostering creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving, the hackathon encourages individuals to address key challenges in today’s learning environments.

Participants will:

Develop innovative, tech-based solutions for education using AI, VR/AR, blockchain, or data.

Promote inclusive and accessible learning by designing tools for learners of all backgrounds and needs.

Enhance digital literacy and cybersecurity awareness through creative approaches.

Create applications, games, platforms, or services that support teachers, students, and lifelong learners.

Explore new approaches to assessment, personalisation, and professional development in digital education.

By the end of the hackathon, teams will have developed prototypes or concepts that demonstrate how technology can address real-world educational challenges. These solutions may contribute to broader initiatives in digital education or be further developed into impactful projects.

Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants

Participants must be 16+ years old and can come from any field—students, teachers, entrepreneurs, journalists, designers, developers, and anyone passionate about technology, innovation, and education.

Registration is possible both individually and in teams (2–4 members). If registering solo, you’ll have a chance to form or join a team on the first day. For team registration, one representative should fill in the form and include contact details of all members.

We expect participants to be curious, motivated, and ready to collaborate on impactful educational solutions.

Available Support

Participants will receive full support throughout the hackathon. Mentors and guest speakers will be available onsite to guide teams, offer feedback, and help shape ideas. All rules, resources, and guidelines will be shared in advance. A pre-hackathon info session will be held to explain the format and expectations. We’ll also provide sample pitch materials and help with presentation preparation.
