DigiEduHack 2025

Rethinking education in the age of digital skills.

Get ready: the 6th edition of DigiEduHack will take place 7-16 Nov 2025

Seize the opportunity, let's support people-driven digital transformation in education together!

EduScale Engine: Code the Future of Systemic Change

Join us for a 24-hour hackathon addressing one of the most pressing challenges in Czech education. As part of the European Commission's global DigiEduHack initiative and Days of AI in Czechia 2025, we're bringing together developers, data scientists, designers, and educators to build technology that can transform educational equity for over 5,000 schools.

The main challenge is to create an open-source data infrastructure for Eduzměna Foundation, a Czech NGO driving systemic change in public education. After a successful five-year pilot, they're scaling nationwide and need to transform their manual data analysis process.

Your mission: Build a prototype with four key components:

1. Data Input Layer - Secure interface with validation tools and AI/NLP for Czech language

2. AI-Powered Processing Core - Full-text search, automated classification, and content interpretation

3. BI & Analytics Engine - Impact measurement, cost-benefit analysis, and data visualisation

4. User Dashboard - Real-time multi-level filtering from national to school level

The system must handle both quantitative data (metrics, surveys) and qualitative data (reports, transcripts, feedback) while maintaining GDPR compliance and supporting 200+ concurrent users.
