Challenge and goals

This hackathon aims to empower vocational high school and university students, educators, academics, researchers, innovators, and developers to co-create impactful, AI-driven educational solutions. Participants will explore emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, augmented/virtual reality, blockchain, IoT, and quantum-inspired tools to reimagine the future of learning and training. Key outcomes include developing prototype tools or platforms that enhance personalised learning, increase accessibility, and foster immersive and adaptive education experiences. The event will promote multidisciplinary collaboration, stimulate innovative thinking, and generate actionable solutions that can be piloted in schools, universities, and technical training centers. Successful concepts will receive mentorship and visibility through the DigiEduHack network, with opportunities for scaling and integration into existing education ecosystems.

Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants

Participants are expected to work collaboratively in diverse teams, combining expertise from education, technology, and innovation to develop functional prototypes or conceptual solutions. Skills in coding, design, pedagogy, and problem-solving are valuable, but all backgrounds are welcome. Teams should focus on solutions that are feasible, scalable, and impactful for vocational and higher education contexts. Deliverables include a working prototype or concept, a short pitch, and documentation outlining the solution’s potential impact and scalability. No prior hackathon experience is required.
