DigiEduHack 2025

Rethinking education in the age of digital skills.

Get ready: the 6th edition of DigiEduHack will take place 7-16 Nov 2025 (Deadline: October 20)

Seize the opportunity, let's support people-driven digital transformation in education together!

My Learning Resources

The Italian Society of Management (SIMA) invites university students to explore how AI can support the customisation of learning materials, adapting them to different courses and different learning styles … and develop a proposal that can leverage on their own direct experience.

Participants will develop their proposals following the Design Thinking process:

  1. Empathise: reflect on the challenges learners face with traditional course materials
  2. Discover: explore how AI can tailor educational resources to individual courses, instructors and learners
  3. Define: identify the key features of AI-driven educational content solutions
  4. Ideate: brainstorm how AI tools can create engaging and accessible learning materials
  5. Prototype: configure a reference approach to customise learning resources and reflect on how to implement it.

The proposals will be evaluated by a panel of experts and the winning team will move to a selection at the European level.

Challenge and goals

The goal of hackathon participants is to leverage AI’s potential to create personalised, adaptive learning materials in line with the specific needs of different courses, instructors and learners. The focus is on developing innovative approaches that improve usability and effectiveness of educational resources.

Outcomes might include:

  • AI-Driven Customised Learning Content: on the basis of the course and of the instructor’s priority adapt educational resources, tailor content (i.e. difficulty levels or formats)
  • AI-Based Adaptive Learning Resources: imagine how learning resources powered by AI can adjust in real time based on user engagement, performance, and learning pace.
  • AI-Enhanced Collaborative Learning Materials: enable collaborative content creation, allowing educators and students to co-design adaptive learning materials.
  • Application Pathways for AI Content Solutions: define implementation strategies and key performance indicators for an effective solution deployment.
Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants

Participants should be Masters students, with a select group of Bachelors students also eligible to join.

Participants are expected to:

  • Attend three focused webinars: “AI agents: features and potential”, “AI and its impact on education” and “Design Thinking for meaningful innovations”
  • Be curious about how AI can reshape educational content and learning experiences
