Challenge and goals
The InnoEduPipe DigiEduHack aims to foster creativity, collaboration, and experimentation in designing solutions for the future of education. By engaging students, PhD candidates, and educators in interdisciplinary teams, the hackathon encourages participants to address real challenges in assessment, teaching support, and student learning experience, all within the broader context of digital transformation and AI.
A key outcome will be the project posters developed by each team. These posters will not only serve as the final hackathon deliverables but will also be reused in co-design activities at universities participating in 4InnoPipe2 and EUonAIR projects. In this way, the results of the hackathon will extend beyond the event itself, feeding into ongoing international initiatives that shape innovative educational practices and policies.
Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants
Participants are expected to be available and actively engaged throughout the hackathon, working intensively from 17:00 on 14 November until 9:00 on 15 November. Teams of up to five members will collaborate to design and develop their solutions. The final outcome of each team’s work will be a project poster, prepared overnight using the provided Canva template and submitted electronically by the morning deadline.
Available Support
During the hackathon, participants will have access to guidance and support from a team of mentors: four mentors onsite at Kozminski University and two mentors online for international participants. Mentors will provide advice, answer questions, and help teams refine their ideas and posters throughout the event.
Additionally, we have prepared an inspirational session led by two founders of student startups, who will share their experiences and insights on innovation, teamwork, and turning ideas into real projects.
