Protect Your Mind and Digital World: Self-Care and Safety Online
The challenge invites university students to design creative and sustainable solutions that promote digital self-care, emotional well-being, and online safety in an increasingly hyperconnected world.
Technology can be a powerful ally when used purposefully. Therefore, teams must imagine tools that help the educational community achieve a more conscious and balanced use of digital technologies. You may focus on issues such as digital stress, overexposure on social media, identity and privacy management, cyberbullying, healthy disconnection, or any other issue you wish to consider.
The challenge is open to any proposal based on technologies such as artificial intelligence, mobile apps, digital platforms, bots, augmented reality, or other digital solutions.
We are looking for ideas that inspire a more empathetic, critical, and resilient digital citizenship.
Your creativity can make a difference!

Challenge and goals
This year's challenge seeks to inspire participants to develop technological solutions that promote digital self-care, emotional well-being, and safety in educational environments. Through collaborative work between students and mentor teachers, teams are expected to strengthen their skills in designing proposals with real impact that help manage mental health in digital life, protect online identity, and encourage conscious use of technology. As a result, participants will not only enhance their creativity and digital skills, but also contribute to building safer, more empathetic educational communities that are prepared to face the challenges of the digital world.
Expectations and requirements for the solutions and participants
Participants are expected to work in teams of students and educators, combining their strengths to create educational innovations. While previous experience is a plus, the emphasis is on collaboration, creativity, and educational impact. Teams should be ready to explore how digital tools can improve teaching and learning outcomes. Participation in all scheduled activities is required, culminating in a 3 minutes video presentation where teams will showcase their solutions and potential for real-world application.
