The 2023 Digital Education Hackathon Finalists

After 936 hours of hacking, over 220 solutions developed in the framework of 39 local hackathons, held in 22 countries, the DigiEduHack central team is delighted to announce the 2023 finalists of this 4th upscaled and expanded edition of the digital education hackathon.

As a result of the intense collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving that took place during the local hackathons conducted across the globe in the early days of November 2023, we have 11 grassroots innovation solutions. They are organised by category – beginners and experienced – and per subcategory – social impact and disruptive technology.

Here are our 2023 finalists!

Beginner Awards:

Social Impact Award - Awarded to solutions benefiting society and the community within the digital education landscape, promoting inclusion, diversity, and addressing diverse needs.


Disruptive Technology Award - Recognizing innovative solutions introducing novel tools or technologies challenging existing norms in digital education, incorporating cutting-edge technologies such as AI, blockchain, virtual reality, IoT androbotics.

  • Guacamole
    Proposed solution: ADAPTATEC to challenge DIGIEDUHACK TEC CDMX
    Hackathon details: onsite, emerging technologies for education, Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey


Experienced Awards:

Social Impact Award - Presented to solutions promoting inclusion and diversity, demonstrating sustainability and scalability potential, and involving relevant stakeholders to foster empowerment and community engagement.


Disruptive Technology Award - Acknowledging solutions challenging existing norms in digital education through innovative tools or technologies, simplifying complex learning processes, or enhancing learners’ engagement.

    Proposed solution: LEARNEON to challenge HACK4WORLD BAKU
    Hackathon details: blended hackathon, emerging technologies for education, UNEC.
